Armani Prive Fall 2015 Couture Collection

The collection this season is a fusion of exquisite jewel tones in a variety of materials to give the collection different levels of severity and movement while still being cohesive.

A mix of tweed, feathers, velvet and Swarovski crystals are united by the rich color palette of sapphire blues, ruby red, and a dash of emerald. The couture collection fuses unexpected elements in a way that is unique and rare on the runway. One of the looks paired a light ostrich feathered jacket in a bright fuchsia with an equally loud crystal embellished pant. Beaded fringe is also in the unexpected category when paired with a rich velvet. The statement pieces define every look to ensure that they are all spectacular. The collection also features a sapphire-emerald-violet ombre combination as a motif throughout the pieces. The ombre is placed in obvious, eye catching places, such as a feathered jacket, but also more subtly hiding in an inconspicuous print on a pant or a jacket. To balance all the movement from the fringe and the feathers, suited blazers which are impeccably sculpted and structured are added to juxtapose.
