Aritzia Hosts Spring 2016 Preview

Aritzia showcased its Spring 16 collection last week.

In the midst of it finally feeling like fall here in New York, with temperatures hitting the fifties, the collection was a welcome relief from the upcoming winter. From Aritzia’s exclusive portfolio of thirteen brands, pieces were shown from Wilfred Free, Babaton, Wilfred, Talula and Tna, among others. The collection included traditionally key spring pieces like long duster coats, knitted tops, assorted crop tops in varying materials, and light knit tops. The color palette consisted of varying degrees of neutrals like cream, olive, light browns, and black.

It was also important to notice that the hemline for next season is mostly midi length. The pants were shown with flared edges, cut just above the ankles while the dresses and skirts were all midi length or longer. I loved the wispy, cream Sathonay dress from Wilfred paired with the tan Luciano Trench Coat from Babaton. The slip dress would pair really well with a midi skirt over it for an unexpected twist or paired with a leather jacket to for a sexy contrast to the delicate dress. The Babaton Jacorey Dress in cobalt blue is the perfect blue and falls loosely and is a great color for transitioning from fall to spring.

Check out pieces from the collection below. Which pieces can you not wait to snatch up? Comment below!
