Denise Rich & Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research hosted the Angel Ball Launch party at Tao Downtown on Thursday night.
The ball is a charity event which attendees include high caliber celebrities such as Blake Lively, the Kardashian family, Sofia Vergara and many more who come together for one night to fight against cancer. The launch party included advance invitations for guests who wish to reserve their tickets to the event as well as pricing per person and table as well as other charity related information. The foundation also wanted the guests to participate in #20for20 to help them fund 20 grants for their milestone 20th year. The campaign allowed guests to make a one time donation, a monthly donation as well as creating their own Facebook campaign for their friends and family to participate in this great cause. Those who want to donate are able to do so via Visa, American Express, Mastercard as well as a personal check.
The sponsor for the night’s launch party is none other than Manhattan Moonshine. The brand is known for being the highest rated clear whiskey in the world and is a lighter, softer, more versatile drink. Manhattan Moonshine is a whiskey that can be used in a wider variety of cocktails than regular brown whiskey. To demonstrate this, the brand’s CEO cooked up an Earl Grey Sour to serve guests at the launch party. The drink consists of Manhattan Moonshine, Earl Grey Tea Simple and a lemon. Guests were also served with some of Tao’s signature dishes such as Tempura Avocado, Miso Glazed Chilean Bass, and the Imperial Vegetable Egg Roll.
