AMC’s Interview With The Vampire, Season Two Premiere In NYC!

The interview with The Vampire cast brought out gory fun to their season two premiere in NYC!

The evening’s celebrations were hosted at Chelsea’s McKittrick Hotel and guests were physically drawn into the vampire aesthetic as soon as they entered the building. The walls were black with a tunnel of red lights, as we cautiously went up the stairs, while hoping nothing or no one would pop up and scare us.  The red carpet location fittingly featured a room beautifully set up with dim lights, hanging red fabric, vintage books and candles.

For the screening, the guests went downstairs to an open space surrounded by a plethora of pine trees and delicious servings of red pomegranate cocktails. The first episode was superb and very intriguing, as the vampires are shown navigating historically tense times during their immortal lives, as they answer the personal question of whether or not memory is a monster for each of their characters, like the trailer poses. The lead vampires are shown recalling painful and traumatic moments in their life as they hope to gain healing from the challenges they face in their never ending lives.

Post-screening, guests were invited into an interactive experience that started with getting a red bracelet by an actor. We walked up the stairs to a long and dark hallway, and witnessed actors portraying a hyper-realistic vampire attacking a civilian. After the intense performance, we walked into a night lounge on a lower floor, complete with a jazz singer and band in a cozy lounge that was surrounded by red curtains.

The whole evening’s itinerary was carefully crafted to serve not only the gory aesthetic, but to captivate guests to stay watching the rest of season two and one thing is for sure – we all definitely will and we recommend you do to!
