AMC Brings TWD: Dead City and Fear The Walking Dead to Wonder Con 2023

On Saturday, AMC’s The Walking Dead: Dead City and Fear The Walking Dead took the stage at Wonder Con in Anaheim, CA.

According to AMC, Dead City will premiere immediately following Fear the Walking Dead’s midseason finale on Sunday, June 18th, at 10 p.m. ET on AMC and AMC+, which is also the television network’s streaming service. The dead running the Big Apple is now on a new schedule, which will air new episodes every Sunday at 9:00pm ET.

This new series stars Lauren Cohen and Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Maggie and Negan, two of TWD’s most beloved characters. In Manhattan, they are completely disconnected from the mainland and are searching for Maggie and Glenn’s son Hershel, who has been kidnapped. The city is populated not only by walkers, but also by surviving humans who are both a threat and a threat to the walkers; and if there hasn’t been proof of this already by every other zombie film/series before this, we could believe that the living are more dangerous.

The full trailer was shown to the Wonder Con attendees. However, as of today, it is not yet available online for viewing.

In Dead City, we really get a chance to [ask], ‘What is this? What does it take to move through it?'” Lauren Cohan said. “And more than anything, it’s a chance for us to be forced together on this mission. The tension and unmovable things are still very present. We’ve seen them intersect so often, but in this show, it’s really this tunnel that they’re trapped in to face things they may have run away from, more so what Maggie has run away from and what Negan’s presence brings up for her. It’s like an exercise in intimacy with the worst person.

Also on Saturday, Fans got the chance to witness the season 8 trailer of Fear The Walking dead. It is also noted that this is the final season of the first spinoff of The Walking Dead as Fear debuted in 2015.

Kim Dickens, Jenna Elfman and Christian Evangelista , along with executive producer and co-showrunner Ian Goldberg.

As the trailer shows, Morgan is in serious trouble after being caught, but he also learns enough about PADRE to share with his friends. The trailer also makes it clear that there will be no escape from the all-out war in the zombie world when it comes to the final season. When Morgan begins to document everything he has learned during his long stay in The Walking Dead universe, there is also a hint at future installments of the fandom.

After the panels, select cast members of Fear The Walking Dead and The Walking Dead: Dead City showed up in style at the photo line.
