The show’s theme, “Come Create With Us,” aimed to highlight the visionary women who bring to life the clothing admired all around the world. A departure from traditional fashion shows, Alive + Olivia’s presentation had the models and clothing serving as a backdrop to the creators, highlighted centerstage. Trish Andersen, Natalie Stopka, Mokshini, Justine Marjan, Grace Thomas, Samantha Urbani, and Bec Adams were some of the talented women featured at the show. In celebration of Alice + Olivia’s 20th anniversary, some of the brand’s most popular designs such as sexy statement pants and classic romantic prints were featured once again. Bold color dominated each display, from a blue-themed scene complete with silky dresses and hairstyling inlaid with floral
to a 70s-inspired tie-dye orange and green setup with maximal eastern prints and loose, braided looks. The intersection of fashion and art highlighted at Alice + Olivia’s SS22 NYFW show offers the best of what creatives have to offer.
