Last week we had the pleasure of sitting with the cast and creators of “Search Party,” HBO Max’s mystery-satire series about to release its final season.
The show centers around a twenty-something Dory (Shawkat) and her narcissistic friends (John Early, Meredith Hagner, and John Reynolds) who constantly find themselves in very intense situations.
Creator’s Sarah Violet Bliss and Charles Rodgers spoke how the show came to be, further explaining what they took from societal commentary and implementing it into their own television show.
Alia Shawkat, who plays the show’s protagonist, Dory, was able to share some insights about some of aspects of her character and what it took to prepare for the role.
