A perfect date night adventure that you should not miss
If you are in New York City, you know there is no shortage of shows to go to. But, it is sometimes hard to find a show that truly blows your mind. In comes AirOtic Soiree located at HK Hall in Hell’s Kitchen. AirOtic Soiree masterfully bridges acrobatics and circus tricks with a sensual cabaret style that has been wowing audiences since early February. Guests of the show are treated to incredible acts that depict a story of intense love, passion, sex, and eroticism. On top of that, guests of the show are also treated to a delicious dinner service created by celebrity chef Saul Montiel.
We had the opportunity to attend the AirOtic Soiree and we were not disappointed at all. The show is split into a variety of mini acts where one or more of the four performers take the stage to for their performance. And each performer has a unique and incredible talent, be it in aerial acrobatics, contortionism, pole dancing, and more. The choreography for each act is incredible and leaves audience members in awe from how their body moves, both on the stage and in the air. One of our favorite performances was an aerial act where two of the performers went on to do incredible acrobatic tricks while being held up by a single ring. The intensity of those moves coupled with how sensually each performer moved was a sight to see and left everyone in the audience stunned and on the edge of their seat. Another memorable act that separates AirOtic Soiree from other shows is the playfulness that it has. At one point there was a performer sitting in an inflatable pool under a blacklight to which she performed a burlesque routine while drenching herself in luminescent liquid. The result was a vibrant and colorful burlesque routine that was a sensory masterpiece.
Lastly, the food served during the show was delicious and left us filled. The appetizer was a roasted butternut squash soup that was creamy and had the perfect balance of sweetness and savoriness. For the entrees, guests have the option to select one of four dishes which included a roasted miso glazed halibut, a roasted Cornish hen, a wild mushroom risotto, or a braised short rib dish. We opted for the roasted miso glazed halibut and it was so moist, tender, and beautifully seasoned. And the dessert was a triple chocolate cake dessert that was so decadent and smooth that we kept going back for more.
AirOtic Soiree is the perfect activity for a date night or a night out with friends. The show runs each weekend through April 6th, so be sure to grab your tickets while you can.
