For Adrienne Bailon-Houghton and her mom, Nilda Felix, the kitchen isn’t just a place to cook—it’s where their bond truly comes to life. At the heart of their story is the kitchen—a place that became even more meaningful during the pandemic. “When my mom came to L.A., we just started cooking together all the time,” Adrienne shared, reflecting on how that unexpected chapter brought them closer. What began as a moment of uncertainty turned into something deeply grounding: daily meals, shared recipes, and quality time.

Naturally, the conversation turned to the dishes that define their family. From creamy, comforting cremita to perfectly folded empanadas, their favorite meals aren’t just about flavor—they’re about memory. “These are the recipes that have been passed down,” Nilda said, emphasizing the stories and love behind each bite.

That connection to food made their partnership with Finish feel like a natural fit. Adrienne highlighted their involvement in the Finish Cookbook Club, which blends hands-on recipe demos with practical cleaning tips. “It’s not just about cooking—it’s about the full experience,” she explained, noting how the new Finish Ultimate Quantum has helped simplify cleanup so they can spend more time enjoying meals together.

Beyond the kitchen, Adrienne continues to explore her love of food through storytelling. She new romantic comedy, Chef’s Kiss, describing it as a project that weaves together romance and culinary passion. “Food is such a big part of how we connect,” she said. “It just felt natural to bring that into the story.”

Still, no matter how busy things get, family remains the foundation. Both Adrienne and Nilda reflected on the lessons they’ve learned from one another over the years, especially patience and empathy. “Cooking together teaches you to slow down,” Adrienne said. “And to really listen.”

Looking ahead, Adrienne is also excited about returning to her roots in music. She revealed plans to record a live album in Puerto Rico, expanding on her Grammy-winning project. “It feels like a full-circle moment,” she shared.

Whether they’re in the studio, on set, or simply at home in the kitchen, one thing is clear: for Adrienne and Nilda, food is more than a passion, it’s a language of love, tradition, and togetherness.
