A Night Out at the AAFA’s

The American Apparel and Footwear Association (AAFA) held its 40th American Image Awards on Tuesday.

The ceremony, which benefited the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), honored the career achievements of several industry insiders for their work and innovation in apparel and footwear. The night was hosted by award-winning journalist Katie Couric, and the honorees included Person of the Year, Emanuel Chirico, Chairman, and CEO of PVH Corp.; Company of the Year, Camuto Group; Designer of the Year, Joseph Altuzarra; Retailer of the Year, Fred Segal; and Fashion Maverick, Mansur Gavriel.

The gala also had an extensive guest list with industry executives, designers, and stars, alike. Pictured on the red carpet were Coach CEO, Josh Schulman; Chromat designer Becca McCharen-Tran; and “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star, Cynthia Bailey.
