‘Juice’ Debuts on Blu-Ray To Mark 25th Anniversary

The 25th Anniversary of ‘JUICE’ will include the Blu-ray release of the film for the first time ever.

JUICE, a story of morality steeped in the culture of Harlem in the 90s, is one of the influential films that is celebrated for the realistic portrayal of life in New York’s hip-hop scene. The film tells the story of four friends in the pursuit of the respect and power that they call the Juice.

The film marked the directorial debut of cinematographer Ernest R. Dickerson and the first starring roles for Tupac Shakur and Omar Epps. For the film’s 25th anniversary, Paramount Home Media Distribution will be releasing the Blu-ray version of the film on June 6, 2017. This will include brand new interviews with members of the cast and crew, new footage on set and commentary from Dickerson.  The featurettes include interviews with Shakur, Cypress Hill, Queen Latifah, and Eric B. Fans will be able to witness the film’s original ending and hear Dickerson explain why it was changed right before the film’s theatrical debut.

The film will be released on June 6, 2017 in Blu-ray and DVD and June 13, 2017 in Digital HD. It is rated R for strong language and some violence. Here is the film’s trailer:
