Wiz Khalifa Announces New Business Venture

Rapper ‘Wiz Khalifa’ is putting his name on all things marijuana which includes a strain of his own called ‘Khalifa Kush.’

After partnering with RAW Rolling Papers in 2014, rapper Wiz Khalifa is now releasing his own line of marijuana strains, products and concentrates. Wiz announced that he will be partnering with Colorado-based company RiverRock Cannabis on February 5. The line of regulated Khalifa-curated strains, concentrates, and infused products will be available on April 20 (also known as 4/20).

“These products have taken years to perfect,” said the marijuana legalization advocate. “I’m really excited to finally share them with the public and to work with RiverRock to raise awareness and end cannabis prohibition nationwide.”

Wiz has been promoting Khalifa Kush for quite some time now and it has apparently gotten him into a bit of trouble. Last week while tweeting to rapper Kanye West, he included the initial’s “KK” in one of the posts. Kanye took the initials “KK” as a reference to his wife, Kim Kardashian, but it was pertaining to Wiz’s marijuana line. After a short Twitter beef, the two spoke and thankfully worked it out.

On another note, In an interview with Power 106’s The Cruz Show, the rapper did a freestyle to Adele’s “Hello.”

“Roll one up and let’s get high/I am trying to get fried,” he sang.

Wiz has always been a supporter of cannibis and marijuana legalization, and recently renewed his partnership with RAW Rolling Papers. Wiz released his latest album KHALIFA, which included his hit song “Bake Sale.” His album Rolling Papers 2 is expected to release later this year.
